Hephzi Pemberton
Founder & Chair
Hephzi is the Founder and Chair of Equality Group.
15 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, management, strategy and entrepreneurship including Lehman Brothers analyst, Kea Consultants co-founder and partner. She is the author of the Amazon bestseller "The Diversity Playbook" and several research papers including "2021 Inclusive Index" (published in Dow Jones). BA Literature and Language (Oxford University).
Mother of two boys, an avid runner and amateur poet.
Sasha Graham
Chief Executive Officer
Sasha is a Founding Member of Equality Group and Chief Executive Officer.
She leads the firm’s Learning and Development offering and has worked with numerous leading European PE and Technology firms on training and upskilling their teams on Diversity and Inclusion.
She is committed to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the martial arts and combat sport.
Simon Norris
Chief Operating Officer
Simon is Chief Operating Officer and also leads the Executive Search practice.
He has 15 years’ experience in the Executive Search industry and has spent the past 12+ years advising Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, making Board-level appointments in portfolio companies as well as delivering investment team hires. He started his career at PwC where he spent four years in Business Recovery Services.
An avid sportsman, most weekends can be found with a hockey stick, golf club, cricket bat or squash racket in hand.
Eva Lauerbach
Head of Consultancy
Eva is a Founding Member and Senior Leader at Equality Group. She heads up Equality Group’s DEI Consultancy practice.
With more than 15 years’ experience in strategy consulting and executive search, she advises clients in investment and technology sectors on de-biasing processes and building more inclusive work cultures.
Mother of two, certified sommelier, PADI advanced water diver and fitness lover. Eva passionately enjoys organising events to bring people together around music, art and wellness.
Pedro Capitani
Data Analyst
Pedro is a Data Analyst within Equality Group's consulting team. He reports key insights on DEI data across the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry. He is an economist from the University of Buenos Aires with 7 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting.
He is devoted to CrossFit and reading all books he can find.
Prof. Keon West
Head of Academic Research
Keon the Head of Research for Equality Group and a Professor of Psychology at Goldsmiths University.
His research focuses on prejudice, sexual orientation, and sexual health and he has received numerous international awards for his research, teaching, media engagement, and social activism.
He has appeared over 100 times as a psychological expert on media outlets including the BBC World Service, Radio 4, Channel 4 and the Guardian.
Chido Hession
Consultant
Chido is a Consultant working in Equality Group’s Consultancy and Education practices.
Chido helps clients on de-biasing processes as well as implementing the tools to empower these organisations to become DEI leaders. She previously worked on ESG events in financial services before turning to DEI to focus on the promotion of inclusive workplace cultures.
She is a mother of two girls who enjoys keeping active - playing netball, spinning and nature walks are among her weekly rituals.
Dr. Lukas Wallrich
Consultant
Lukas is a Consultant working in Equality Group’s Consultancy and Education practices. He is a lecturer in the Birkbeck Department of Organisational Psychology. Earlier in his life, he worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, and then completed his PhD in Social Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London.
At present, his main research interest is how workforce diversity can be harnessed to improve organisational performance. Apart from that, he is interested in intergroup contact, attitude change and sees himself as a proponent of Open Science practices.
